De Ceglie is a professional with exceptional experience in the distribution of Italian food products in the USA. His most recent role, prior to his current position, was as CEO of SALOV North America (Filippo Berio olive oil) – since February 2016. Previously, De Ceglie spent several years in the United States as CEO of PMI De Cecco USA in New York and as CEO of American Rice Inc. / General Manager of SOS Group for North America in Houston TX.
Before moving to the United States, he worked for Unilever for 29 years in Italy, England and Belgium, engaging in a variety of international managerial roles in different product categories and in different functions:
– finance, marketing, sales , supply chain and general management.
Born in Italy, Marco grew up in Rome where he graduated with honors in Economics at La Sapienza University; Today he has dual citizenship – Italian and American – and lives in Miami; he has been happily married for more than 30 years, has two children and a very small dog who has been faithfully following all the family’s transfers for many years.
